Luxembourg's very own Galeries Lafayette are set to open their doors on the Royal Hamilius site (also formerly known as "Aldringen") in Luxembourg City in November this year.

Codic, the developer company that is working on the Royal Hamilius project, specified the opening date in an official statement.

13 months after the lease signature, Codic has now given Galeries Lafayette the keys to their building, and interior work is about to kick off in full swing.

Between 120 and 150 people will be employed by Galeries Lafayette in Luxembourg.

The French department store chain's Luxembourg site will be spread over 9.000 sqm and six floors, and will also boast a panoramic terrace.
