Election materials put up by the nationalist ADR party have been defaced and knocked over, acts that the party has strongly condemned on social networks.

After a problematic start for the ADR campaign last week, with the Luxembourgish flag upside down and misspellings, the series continues ...

These advertising signs seem to have been targeted by other people, some trying to make fun of the failed start, others seeking to destroy them.

The political party even criticised RTL for drawing too much attention to the campaign blunders by making it their top story on their online portal and said that they hope that the vandalism of the the past few hours will also be included in the news. "No respect for the flag" "No understanding of democracy", it said.

An ADR sign knocked over at the side of the road: making the message unreadable, but at least the flag is displayed the right way up. A photo published by ADR MP Roy Reding underlines with certainty that it wasn't the wind which knocked it over.

Another ADR MP also "liked" a photo of an overturned sign. A "shame", according to Reding, who points the finger at vandalism.

Another case of vandalism, more evident this time, was reported in Bridel where an ADR advertising board was completely destroyed with a knife. "No respect for the flag, no understanding of democracy," said Reding.

The political party and its representative therefore want the media to talk about it as well.

This act, probably committed by a vandal, was also relayed on Twitter.
