Thursday was quite the challenging day for commuters on the road. As a previous accident was slowing down traffic on the A3 in the morning, another collision took place on the A6.
A car accident had occurred near the Mamer exit, heading towards Belgium, resulting in a complex operation on the motorway involving multiple teams of firefighters. The accident led to the closure of both lanes until 2 PM to facilitate emergency services’ intervention - only the hard shoulder was left accessible to vehicles.
Reportedly, the occupants of the vehicle were extricated from car by the firefighters. As a result of the accident, two individuals sustained injuries, and heavy traffic congestion was reported in the direction of Belgium.
