The month of January saw an increase in car registrations compared to the same time a year ago. By the end of February, 9,114 new vehicles were registered in Luxembourg.
However, garages noted a 4.9% decrease in registrations compared to the previous year. The only brand to have more than 1,000 vehicles registered in the first two months of the year was VW. Mercedes and BMW were second and third.
2019 was considered a record-breaking year when it came to new vehicle registrations throughout Luxembourg, with just over 55,000 vehicles registered.
