According to witnesses at the scene, the young boy stood partly hidden between two stationed cars and suddenly walked into the street, where he was hit by an oncoming car. The driver immediately took care of the child and alerted the emergency services. The boy was later brought to the hospital for treatment.
On Wednesday, a reckless driver was spotted on the N11 direction Luxembourg City. The same car was stopped soon after by the police in Senningerberg. As it turned out, the woman had too much to drink and was moreover violating her driving ban. She subsequently received a fine and her car was seized by the police.
