Kirchberg is hoped to become a lively neighbourhood where people work and live, Bausch explained earlier this Friday. 750 apartments are expected to be for sale by 2023. The ambitious housing project, which was brought to life by the "Kirchberg Fund," the ministry for housing and the ministry for public works, will create living spaces for around 23,000 people.
Wildong served as senior manager for Arcelor Mittal between 1999 and 2007 before he joined the CFL to oversee infrastructure projects. He was for instance an integral part of the team that worked on the Belval rail station project.
In his new role of director of the Kirchberg fund, Wildong will focus on affordable housing. He starts his new position on 15 August.
