The Luxembourg resident was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He passed away at the hospital.
The Grand-Rue-Cimetière crossroads was closed to traffic until 1.20pm.
A female bystander provided first aid to the victim at the scene of the accident. Police have urged her to get in touch by calling 24 46 41000.
