By signing the national pact, businesses commit to developing a governing body designed to identify human rights violations.

Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn was present at the signing of the agreement and underlined that neither the European Union nor the Grand Duchy want to sell goods produced in violation of human rights.

Among the firms that signed the pact are Cargolux, the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), the Chamber of Commerce, national railway company CFL, Encevo, and Superdreckskëscht.
