The latest results from the TRAIL (TV & Radio Audience In Luxembourg) study – conducted by ILRES – underscore RTL’s central role in the daily lives of Luxembourg residents. The current publication, TRAIL 2026-II, covers survey data from September 2025 to July 2026.
RTL Radio Lëtzebuerg has reinforced its leading position in the country’s radio landscape – with more than half of all residents aged 16 and above tuning in at least once a week.
The RTL family also provides programming in several languages. RTL RADIO Feel Good Music – formerly known as RTL RADIO 93,3 & 97,0 Deutschlands Hit-Radio – now reaches 94,600 listeners each week in Luxembourg.
RTL Today Radio continues to gain momentum as well – drawing a weekly audience of 47,800*.

RTL Télé Lëtzebuerg remains a mainstay in Luxembourg’s television landscape – with more than 20% of residents aged 16 and over watching each day, and weekly viewership now exceeding 40%.
Including RTL ZWEE and RTL PLAY TV Video, a combined 232,700 people watch RTL television content weekly. Among foreign channels, TF1 stands out as the top choice for international residents – reaching 57,400 foreign nationals each week. Across the entire population aged 16 and over, TF1 ranks second with 99,200 weekly viewers.

RTL has also cemented its digital presence through RTL.lu, RTL Infos, and RTL Today. Across websites and apps, RTL now reaches 42.3% of Luxembourg’s population aged 16 and above every day. Over the course of a week, this figure rises to 66% – meaning nearly two out of three residents access RTL’s digital platforms.

Whether via radio, television, websites, or mobile apps – the combination of RTL’s media platforms ensures the group can accompany audiences throughout their day.
