With protests reaching day ten in Beirut, Luxembourg's residents showed solidarity with the Lebanese population by gathering on Place Clairefontaine in Luxembourg City on Saturday. Around 30 people met in the capital during lunch time.
Michael Chidiac, who initiated the manifestation, says the protest in Lebanon is an alarming cry of despair by a population that demands for the government to resign and a fresh start.
There are currently around 100 Lebanese citizens residing in Luxembourg.
