Thousands of runners and supporters are gathering at the Coque this weekend for the 20th edition of Relais pour la Vie, an annual event organised by Fondation Cancer to support cancer survivors and raise funds for cancer research.

Over 13,000 participants are taking part in the 24-hour relay, which not only raises money but also shines a spotlight on cancer awareness. During the opening ceremony, cancer survivors were presented with a rose.

Many supporters are cheering on the runners from the stands. The event also welcomed distinguished guests, including Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Prime Minister Luc Frieden, and many ministers and MPs.
