The first happened in the area of Vesquenhaff in Differdange. At around 9.45pm a driver lost control over his vehicle while turning, and drove into the wall of a house. The police report revealed that not only were the driver's alcohol levels double the legal limit, but that there was already a warrant out for his arrest relating to a provisional driving ban. By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, his car was impounded.
A little later at around 11.15pm another accident caused material damage on Rue du Brill in Foetz. One driver clipped 2 cars without turning himself in. When the police managed to track him down and discovered that he was under the influence, they seized his licence.
