From Luxembourg to Portugal2,000 kilometres by bike for a good cause

RTL Today
Two Luxembourg residents spent three weeks on a cycling expedition to raise autism awareness, travelling from 27 July to 16 August.

Two friends, Helder Goncalves and Victor Da Costa, first came up with the idea a year ago. Their journey took them from Differdange to Mondim de Basto in Portugal, all in the name of raising awareness for autism. From start to finish, they were supported by the municipalities, as well as a large number of individuals who donated and followed their journey on social media.

For 3 weeks, the two cyclists shared their efforts on their Facebook page, uploading daily progress reports and photos and videos from their 2000 km journey.

The expedition raised a total of €40,000 for the Luxembourg Autism Foundation.
