This year's 'winter action' officially launched on 1. December. Coordinators from Inter-actions, an organisation that helps improve conditions for socially disadvantaged groups, work together with Red Cross and Caritas volunteers.
During the week, around 120 individuals benefit from the shelter in Bonnevoie. Around 160 people visit the shelter on weekends. The night shelter, which is managed by Caritas, hosts more or less the same amount of people.
Both day and night shelters will remain open every day, including the Christmas holidays. The winter action is set to continue until 31. March 2020.
