Police conducted targeted alcohol controls in Remich and Ellange-Gare between 1.15am and 3.45am last night, acting on instructions from the public prosecutor’s office.
During the operation, officers stopped and breathalysed 217 drivers. 16 motorists tested positive for alcohol consumption, resulting in three immediate driving licence confiscations. Additionally, one driver was penalised for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs.
