From Schrassig to Sanem155 inmates moved to Uerschterhaff pre-trial detention centre
The "Uerschterhaff" penitentiary centre in Sanem became operational eight weeks ago, housing 155 inmates awaiting trial thus far.
The Sanem premises is designed only to house prisoners in pre-trial detention, with 155 inmates transferred from Schrassig prison to date. 158 men are still being held in preventative detention in Schrassig as of 23 January.
