Two main roads leading to Beaufort were destroyed in last week's storm. Road between Berdorf and Beaufort, as well as the CR128 between Haller and Beaufort, are no longer accessible.
Before being completely rebuilt the destroyed roads first need to be cleared and stabilised. The new build will take a while, but a stronger foundation will hopefully prevent the new roads from being destroyed future storms.

The complete devastation of the CR364 between Berdorf and Beaufort means that the road is expected to remain closed for up to a year.
Many photos show the scale of the destruction, with large chunks of road missing and dangerous cracks lining the remaining tarmac.
