11 new petitions have been added to the Chamber of Deputies website, with six weeks to gather the necessary 4,500 signatures in order to progress to public debate.

Among the petitions filed are demands for a high-speed train link between Luxembourg and Brussels; obligatory first-aid courses linked to driving licences; more regulation or a cap on rent prices, with agency fees paid by proprietors for rentals.

Another petition calls for a ban on driven hunting, while another suggests moving the springtime clock change to February.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that the petition requesting two days of remote work per week for all would be put to public debate on 30 November, after receiving nearly 14,000 signatures.
