'Critical Mass'100 cyclists reclaim the streets of Luxembourg City

The event was organised through the facebook group "Siggy the Cyclist".

The worldwide movement sees people unite and cycle through the streets of their neighbourhood to demand better and safer infrastructure for bicycles, for instance separate cycling lanes.

Around 100 people gathered on Saturday to participate in the so-called "Critical Mass", raising awareness about the ongoing dangers for cyclists on Luxembourgish streets. Criticism was also directed at the level of traffic in the city, as well as the confusing road signs for cyclists.

The demonstrators acknowledged that a lot of progress had already been made, as for example the cycling bridge underneath the Pont Adolphe.
