Examining the online system's progress in its first year, the police spoke of a successful first year on Friday 26 July.
Up until the end of June, residents had submitted 1,600 online reports, the majority of which concerned mobile phone, purses, and jewellery theft. Mainly, reports concerned incidents with unknown perpetrators and without assault.
To fill out an online report, residents can do so on police.lu. The report is submitted securely through the Luxtrust verification process.
