The defendant was caught driving with reckless abandon through Luxembourg City one afternoon in September 2018. The man cruised through a red light and failed to stop at a zebra crossing.
During the trial, the defendant was also accused of attempting to do a runner when caught.
Ultimately, the court sentenced the driver to a €1,000 fine and a 30-month driving ban. The man will still be permitted to drive to work and back for the duration of the ban.
