PwC Luxembourg’s annual review for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2022 was published today, and sees the company reaching a turnover of over €540 million, an increase of around 11% on the year before. CEO John Parkhouse notes that this is in face of some challenging business conditions over the recent past - from the lasting impact of Coronavirus, to the ongoing war in Ukraine which has seen several markets take a downward turn, not least through the impact on energy prices.

Parkhouse emphasises the importance of PwC’s people - the company employs around 3,100 people from 85 different nationalities in Luxembourg - and notes that the “recruitment and retention of talent” will be key to continued success into next year and beyond.

Particularly strong growth was seen in the assurance side of the company’s business, which represents 50.1% of turnover and saw 10.6% year-on-year growth.
