Finnish tech firm Wolt is now active in Luxembourg, offering speedy home-delivery of restaurant meals and other products within 30 minutes.

In a significant boost to local restaurants and retailers, Wolt promises a simple and convenient delivery service, from store to customers' homes in just 30 minutes. The Wolt app offers an easy ordering process with real-time tracking, as well as 24/7 customer service.

The platform features popular chains and beloved local spots like Mama’s Boys, Manso Group, Partigiano, Burger King, Simon Says Chicken, and Cinnamood among its nearly 200 restaurants. Customers can also order from an alcohol store, an ice cream shop and a gourmet store, while the company hopes to expand its offering to include groceries, florists, bookshops, electronic stores and baby items.

"Luxembourg has many diverse restaurants and shops, so we can provide a fantastic selection for the Luxembourgish customer to choose from. Luxembourg is a prosperous market with an active business community, so there is a lot of demand for a service like ours," says Loren Danesi, Wolt's General Manager in Luxembourg.

Initially, Wolt will focus on key areas in Luxembourg City, with plans for expansion across the capital region. New users can enjoy free delivery for 14 days on all orders.

Delivery fees start from €2.49 up to a maximum of €5.99.

Established in 2014, Wolt merged with DoorDash in 2022, extending its presence to 30 countries, with 26 operating under the Wolt brand, including Luxembourg.

General Manager Loren Danesi will be a guest on Today Radio next week Thursday.
