The Entrepreneurial Woman Project (EWP) is marking a significant milestone as it celebrates its 10th edition this year.

Since its inception in 2014, EWP has been at the forefront of empowering women entrepreneurs, providing them with the tools and support needed to transform their business ideas into reality. The project is organised by the Luxembourg Poland Chamber of Commerce (LPCC), a non-profit organisation dedicated to fostering business relationships between Poland and Luxembourg.
EWP serves as a comprehensive program designed to guide aspiring female entrepreneurs through the complex administrative and legal tasks involved in setting up a company in Luxembourg, as well as strengthening existing businesses. Over the course of six Saturday workshops, participants have the unique opportunity to learn from 16 experts in various fields and connect with like-minded individuals, fostering a network of support and inspiration.

The project has gathered the support of prestigious sponsors who generously contribute to its success. AKD, a renowned law firm specializing in business law, has stepped forward as the primary sponsor with a generous contribution of €3000. ATOZ, a leading tax advisory firm, has also provided substantial support with a sponsorship of €2000. Additionally, BSP, a prominent law firm, has contributed €1000, further reinforcing their commitment to empowering women in entrepreneurship.

This year, the training will start on 23 September and will last until 11 November, consisting of Saturday workshops from 9 am to 5 pm. To provide the optimal learning experience the LPCC selects up to 30 participants for each edition. Registration is open until August 31.

From its inception, EWP has enjoyed unwavering support from key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Economy, the Luxembourgish embassy in Poland, and the Polish embassy in Luxembourg. Their involvement and endorsement have played a pivotal role in creating an environment conducive to success, empowering women entrepreneurs to navigate the challenges and intricacies of the business landscape.

The project has witnessed remarkable success stories from its participants. Iryna Sagajdak PhD, a participant from the 2021 edition, founded MindfulBody, while Sofie Verstraeten (2019 edition of the project) established Diosfit. Vaiva Simonaviciute (the winner in 2019) founded MAVA Universe, and Supriya Sodhi (winner of the 2018 edition) created DogStays. Other notable ventures include Pologne Conseil, founded by Aleksandra Kanicki (also from the 2019 edition). These success stories serve as a testament to the transformative impact of the Entrepreneurial Woman Project.

One of the most valuable aspects of the project is the network of support and collaboration that participants develop. Through the workshops the participants form connections with like-minded entrepreneurs, creating a vibrant community of support that continues beyond the program.

The Entrepreneurial Woman Project ends with a final competition where participants have the opportunity to pitch their projects to the rest of the group. The group then votes to determine three winners who will receive cash prizes.
