These images are from RTL Television report from August 1955. The tightrope artist crew 'Bugler' was the biggest attraction of the summer, delivering a spectacular performance right outside of the local town hall.
Safe to say that a similar event in current times would require a lot more safety precautions than was the case in the summer of 1955.
