We are working on a new family guide to help navigate every part of family life, and we want to answer YOUR questions. Got one? Send it in!
Without giving away too much, there is a whole new section coming to RTL Today. We decided to name the section "family matters" because (1) we love a bit of wordplay, and our new section covers family matters because family matters, and (2) older people (like yours truly) will see the title and immediately picture Steve Urkel. It's been a while since Urkel graced our screens, so we consider summoning him inside your heads to be a public service of sorts.
More to the point, we are what you might call "heavy users" of social media, and we couldn't help but notice that family life in Luxembourg is a common area of discussion. Whether it's about how to navigate school systems, finding a nursery, dealing with languages, or finding something to do with the family on a Sunday afternoon.. there sure are a lot of questions out there.
So we decided that we should roll up our sleeves and start providing some answers. Family Matters will help you navigate the practical and fun sides of family life alike, but it goes beyond being an 'information repository'.
We also wanted to hear about you and your experiences, your struggles, victories, questions, qualms, and nifty solutions to common issues faced by the expat parent and family community. That's why an important part of our Family Matters section focuses on, well, you. We have sought out people whose experience may be valuable to others, whether it pertains to kids struggling to learn the languages, finding medical help, or balancing work and family life.
These experiences are what make a community, and that's exactly what we want to build. A community for parents, care takers, and families.
