1. Luxembourg Open Air 2026

What: Electronic music festival

LOA Festival returns to Esch-Belval with its traditional Season Opening Festival, bringing two days of music, entertainment and festival vibes to the heart of Belval. With more than 40 artists performing across four stages, visitors can expect a diverse mix of EDM, House, Tech House, Techno, Drum and Bass, Hardstyle and Dubstep, alongside a food village, chill-out area, workshops, animations for all ages and a wide selection of bars. The festival will also feature a cashless payment system and plenty of surprises throughout the event.

2. Neighbours' Day

What: Wholesome celebration of community

The Neigbours' Day festival invites communities across Luxembourg to come together for a day dedicated to neighbourhood spirit, friendship, and shared moments. Open to everyone, the event encourages residents to organise gatherings within their communes, meet new people, connect with neighbours and strengthen community ties through fun, conversation and celebration.

3. Koll an Aktioun

What: Culture festival
Where: Haut-Martelange – Musee de l'ardoise

Koll an Aktioun returns to Haut-Martelange for a weekend celebrating music, art, and community at the former slate mine site of Musée de l’Ardoise. Organised entirely by volunteers, the festival combines live concerts, workshops, street performances, food spaces and family activities in a unique woodland-industrial setting. Across three themed days, visitors can enjoy everything from punk and electronic music to relaxed family-friendly entertainment, alongside art installations, markets and performances throughout the site.

4. Ocean days 2026

What: Wonders of the underwater world
Where: Luxembourg Science Centre, Differdange

The Luxembourg Science Centre invites visitors to discover the wonders of the underwater world during its Ocean Days event, dedicated to exploring the importance and mysteries of the planet's oceans. Through talks by marine biologists and experts, interactive workshops and creative activities for younger visitors, the event offers a fascinating look at marine research, ocean ecosystems and the role oceans play in sustaining life on Earth.

5. Garden Party

What: Music, drinks, food, and petanque

Cajo x Kyosk launch the first Garden Party of the season on the eve of Whit Monday, bringing together music, food, drinks and laid-back outdoor vibes. The event also features pétanque and a relaxed social atmosphere, making it a casual start to the summer with good music and good company in a garden party setting. The day after is a day off and the sun will be out – what more do you want!

6. Bealtaine festival

What: Celtic festival
Where: Neuhäusgen, Luxembourg

Inspired by the ancient Celtic celebration of the arrival of summer, the festival takes place every two years and combines sustainability, outdoor activities, and community spirit in a woodland setting. The programme includes a wide range of creative workshops and activities, particularly aimed at families and children. As with many Luxembourg outdoor gatherings, food is a major part of the experience. Saturday will feature spit-roasted pork and lamb, while Sunday’s centrepiece will be a full ox cooked on-site. Vegetarian and vegan options will also be available throughout the weekend.

7. Strawberry tasting

What: A strawberry lover's dream
