
We’re back, and this time we’re at the Schueberfouer, tasting our way through some of its most iconic food. From proper classics to slightly questionable new creations, this is peak fair season in Luxembourg.
First up, the iconic Gromperekichelcher with apple sauce. Crispy, comforting, and a non-negotiable Schueberfouer staple, for eight euros.
Then the pizza cornet. A pizza, but shaped like an ice cream. Savoury, handheld, and a little bit unhinged, at eight fifty.
Next, the muffle. It looks similar, only bigger and fully in dessert mode. Ice cream, fruit, chocolate, whatever you want, all inside an ice-cream-shaped bubble waffle, also eight fifty.
And finally, chocolate-glazed fruit skewers. Simple and surprisingly refreshing, for four euros.
