Last time Ronaldo appeared in the Grand Duchy for a European qualifier, he had some choice words regarding the state of the pitch at the Josy Barthel stadium, describing it as a “potato field”. On that occasion, Luxembourg’s men were trounced 2-0 - perhaps the new stadium’s conditions might lead to a more favourable outcome? We can only hope...
