Meteolux has issued two yellow alerts on Monday. A heat warning remains in force until 11.59pm on Tuesday evening. Moderate thermal stress is expected, with fatigue or exhaustion possible for anyone spending long stretches outdoors or doing physical work outside.
Meteolux has also issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms in place between 5pm and 11pm on Monday evening for the whole country, with strong wind speeds of up to 80km/h possible. Between 15 and 25 litres of rain per square metre could fall in a short space of time, and hail could also occur in places. Light showers are then possible overnight.
