The two pilots attempted to fly while drunk and consequently failed their breathalyser tests.

The flight was expected to take off for Newark at 9 am in the morning, but was understandably cancelled. This is not the first time United Airlines pilots have been arrested for breaching drink-fly limits at Glasgow Airport. Two pilots were sentenced to prison for attempting to fly while drunk in 2016.
