After attempting to land the plane the pilot change course and fly to Malaga instead, where they were able to land safely just 21 minutes after their expected arrival time - though at the wrong airport.
While the footage certainly looks frightening, BA has apologised to their customer for the disruption to their journey and noted that there was at no point any risk to passengers’ safety.
