Tickets were awarded to youngsters born between July 2007 and June 2008, who can now travel throughout the EU from July 2026 until September 2027, as the Commission announced on Monday. The offer also includes discounts on hostels, public transport, and museums.

The European Commission distributes the tickets twice a year as part of its DiscoverEU travel programme, with the next batch of passes awarded in autumn later this year. Young adults from all EU member states, as well as from non-EU countries participating in the Erasmus+ exchange programme, are eligible to apply.
