Bus travel is booming in the Grand Duchy, resulting in additional routes and better facilities.
Last year, FlixBus carried 190,000 passengers to and from Luxembourg, an increase of 90% compared to 2018, the company said. The parent company FlixMobility network now includes 2,500 destinations accessible by FlixBus and FlixTrain.
More passengers are making use of the company's services, leading them to add The Hague and Rotterdam as destinations from Luxembourg.
FlixBus continues to work closely with the City of Luxembourg, improving facilities and infrastructure of the P+R Bouillon station, the company stated.
The City of Luxembourg has improved the infrastructure of the FlixBus P+R Bouillon station, among other things by installing a bus shelter. In addition, the company is investigating ways to replace the current stop in Kirchberg with a stop at the future site of Héienhaff, where international passengers will in future be able to take a tram connection to the city centre or the airport.
FlixBus aims to be C02 neutral by 2030.

These destinations are either directly available from Luxembourg or reachable within one change over. / © Screenshot
