What started off as two lads challenging folk to bring back the mustache has become a major resource for Prostate Cancer awareness and fund raising.
The Movember Foundation position themselves as the only charity tackling men’s health "on a global scale, year round".

Addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention, the foundation aims to increase the awareness of an issue that many men are either too scared to acknowledge or remain ignorant of.
According to the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research of Cancer, the number of prostate cancer cases is expected to nearly double to 1.7 million in less than 20 years.
