Looking for an easy way to impress a date? Then this colourful dish is for you. Pair it with a glass of wine and your evening plans have been made, and if you can plate it as well as they do in the picture... Well you must be a chef because that is far beyond my expertise.

Ingredients

  • 420 g tagilatelle

For the Stock

  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 sticks of celery
  • scampi shells
  • 3 - 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper seeds
  • 1 clove of garlic

For the Scampi

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • olive oil
  • 400 g scampi (frozen)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp paprika powder

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 glass of white wine
  • 1 glass of shellfish stock
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • juice of half a lemon
  • parsley for garnish
