Apples and cinnamon are synonymous with winter, aren't they? Cinnonymous...anyone? This delicious desert is a perfect dinner party crescendo.
Ingredients
For the tart
- 200 g flour (type 405)
- 170 g butter at room temperature
- 3 egg yolks (= 45 g egg yolk)
- 100 g sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 7 – 8 tart apples (preferably red apples)
- Juice of one lemon
- Apple or quince jelly
- 5 tbsp orange juice
For the ice cream
- 3 egg yolks
- 200 g finest sugar
- 600 ml whole milk
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
