You've already got the monthly What's On picks for family, but it's time you get the low-down. Here are our top favorites of the week!
It’s time for another weekly What’s On for families! Wondering what are the must-dos for this week? Don't worry, we got you!
This week we are skipping to Tuesday, where a very exciting event is taking place at Eltereforum in Niederanven. It's the LiesHond-Café. Your kid gets their reading practice in while getting a cuddle from a furry friend who is trained to listen... Name a better afternoon?
Wednesday is pretty busy! The Kulturhaus in Niederanven is hosting a Painting freely from the heart workshop. Kids can paint whatever comes to mind or movement as music flows through the room.
And if music is your family's jam, The Bootleg Beatles are an "unbeatleble" performance. This tribute to the Fab Four will be performing at Rockhal. Get your tickets, and get ready to sing along to your favourite hits.
Last but not least, Deng Zukunft, Dai Wee! Taking place at Cloche D'Or, this fair is all about the possible student jobs, internships, and trainings for teenagers to prepare them for their future. Think of it as a practice job fair for teens!
On to Thursday! Villa Vauban has a stamping activity planned for the kiddos four years old and above–aptly named, Stamp It! And for the kids who are fascinated by picture books, the First steps in illustration workshop at Kulturhaus Niederanven is the perfect place for them to enhance their visual storytelling skills.
What's going on for Friday? There's an artsy workshop at the Villa Vauban that invites children to be creative and a little messy, and which kid doesn't like that? During the Zoom In class, kids will walk through the museum's colorful exhibitions and then it's off to go mix whatever color they can think of!
Saturday has plenty to do. Tuffi Atelier usually hosts reading workshops for children in Luxembourgish, but this time, it's fully in English. And kids will get to watch a movie and enjoy some snacks, so why not participate?
And if you still want to go watch a movie, an all-time kids' classic will be playing at the Cinémathèque–Spy Kids! The film will be in its original version in English with French subtitles... also did I mention Antonio Banderas is in this one?
Now if this list only had one thing to do all week, it would be this one. On Sunday, go participate in the Big Bang Festival at Neimenster Abbey. Come with your carnival costume on and go celebrate with games and events all day! There will be a musical extravaganza and workshops, some of which will be adapted for deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.
Want to plan ahead for the rest of the month? Check out all of the events happening in February, and we'll update you next Monday with next week's top events!
As always, so much to do, and so little time! Make sure to make the most of it by enjoying the company of your family.
