Luxembourg City ⏐ An annual event, the theme of this year's Kanner in the City festival is a journey through the world of children's books. On 31 July (from 2.30–5.30pm) and 1 August (from 2.30-6.30), Luxembourg City will be transformed into a massive playground for children, with a plethora of games and activities all over the city. It is organised by the City's Childcare department (Département CAPEL), and promises to be a memorable couple of days. See here for more details.

Luxembourg City ⏐ From 29 July until 16 August, Sunset Cinema's sixth edition will take place at Parc Kirchberg. Entry is free, and each night two films will be shown – one starting at 6pm, suitable for children, and one starting later, between 9–9.30pm. Doors open at 5pm.

Luxembourg City ⏐ Running every Wednesday afternoon this summer, from 3.30–5pm, until 15 August, Patisserie Alegría is hosting a workshop for children at it's city-centre location where children can make small cakes and cookies. See here for more information.
Useldingen ⏐ Families with children aged 2–9 years are invited to the farm for a fun-filled afternoon of activities, including feeding the cows, turning cream into butter, and toasting marshmallows by the fire. The afternoon will run from 2–5.30pm. See here for more details.

Lultzhausen ⏐ Starting at 5.30am, this kayak tour will be an invigorating way to start the day. In a group of no more than 12 people, a highlight will be watching the sunrise over the Éislek. Luxembourg City ⏐ During the summer, Villa Vauban is running a variety of workshops for children. This particular workshop is for family duos with children aged four and older, and offers the opportunity to create your own little Nana, using mixed techniques (for those unsure of who Nana is, Nana is the large dancing sculpture in the Villa Vauban park). Kehlen ⏐ An experience for the whole family, come and learn the art of traditional pottery and create your own Péckvillchen, a ceramic bird-shaped pipe. The workshop will take place from 2–4pm, and children need to be at least six years old - see further details here.

Luxembourg City ⏐ From 10 July to 30 August daily sports activities at the Kinnekswiss, organised by the City, will be available for all ages to participate in. The reading takes place between 10.30 and 11.30am, and registration is required. Readings are suitable for children aged 4–10 years, broken down into two groups – Tuff-Junior and Tuffi-Pro.
