Here is a selection of six fairy tale–themed cafes and restaurants to visit this summer with the children.

1. Hans & Gretel Pancake House and play park, The Netherlands

Hans & Gretel is not just a pancake house, it's a place that transports you into the pages of a childrens' book.

With outdoor playgrounds, whimsical structures and houses, and a nice garden, this is a mesmorising place.

Inside, there are three different thematic rooms with unbelievable decor, hidden slides, a playground in the basement, and even an upside down room with a majestic fireplace.

There are many family-friendly activities in the area itself, so we highly recommend a long weekend visit!
