Even if you are not into Halloween, there are plenty of family and kids friendly events in and around Luxembourg to enjoy.

Witches & Legends, Koerich Castle, Luxembourg 

Koerich Castle will once again be transformed into a magical world of folklore on 24 October, as the Witches & Legends evening brings workshops, storytelling, music, and an enchanted witch hunt to the medieval site.

This year’s programme includes a herb workshop for children aged six and over led by specialist Viola, spellbinding tales from magician Laluu, and a lively hunt through the castle grounds. Music and catering will add to the festive atmosphere.

Spooktacular Party: Aborartorium, Livange, Luxembourg 

The Laborartorium in Livange will host a Spooktacular Party on 24 October, designed especially for children and families. Expect an evening filled with music, games, face-painting, Halloween decorations, and plenty of food and fun at the venue’s unique playground.

Little monsters, ghosts, witches and more are invited to join the celebration.

Family Hallowe'en at Crocus Quest Games, Luxembourg 

Families can celebrate Halloween with a colourful evening of entertainment on 31 October, featuring a Neon Bubble Show, face-painting, a costume contest, and meet-and-greet moments with Wednesday Addams and other characters. Little surprises are also promised for all who attend.

Halloween events on the French Moselle – Festival Bêtes et Sorcières

The French Moselle region is promising one of the largest Halloween celebrations in Europe, with more than 180 events taking place under the banner of the Festival Bêtes et Sorcières.

Concerts, arts and crafts workshops, storytelling sessions, Halloween board game nights, and spooky experiences at castles and animal parks all feature on the packed programme.

Families can even climb aboard a Halloween Train, while Harry Potter fans can gather for a special Mandragore workshop.

Trauliicht tradition at Robbesscheier

The Luxembourgish Trauliicht tradition comes to life at the Tourist Centre Robbesscheier from 25 October to 4 November. Families and children can discover old customs while taking part in activities such as pottery and baking.

Halloween at Eifel Park ,Gondorf, Germany

From 10 to 26 October, Eifelpark Gondorf will be celebrating Halloween every day with special shows and family activities. Highlights include a new fire show, a Halloween puppet theatre, creative pumpkin carving, and even a life-size horror dinosaur stomping through the park.

On selected weekends (10–11, 17–18, and 24–25 October), the Hallownights bring an extra layer of spooky fun, with certain activities only available on Saturdays and Sundays.

The wizards castle: Sedan Castle, France 

From 18 October to 2 November, the Château Fort de Sedan invites families into a fantastical world of riddles and illusions. Children and adults alike can explore the castle while solving puzzles in an immersive setting.

Special Halloween evenings on 29, 30 and 31 October will feature live actors bringing the spooky atmosphere to life — advance booking is required.
