Today’s journey is fascinating! On the menu: Discover animal bodies, giants and trolls.
First stop: Anatomical museums, where you and your children can learn about the human and animal bodies in an interactive way.
*Keep in mind that exhibitions with plastinates can be a bit overwhelming for small children, so it's up to you as a parent to make the call! Don't force anything on your kids, every child has their own rhythm and interests.
Second stop: Some very interesting parks with Giants and Trolls.
So let’z enjoy and as always, TravelmatKanner!

ANIMAL INSIDE OUT is a new exhibition that will be on display at the Saarlandhalle in Saarbrücken, Germany from June 24 until September 30, 2023.
As per the description of the exhibition, it will feature a special collection of plastinates that show, quite literally, "animals inside out". Discover how intricate animal blood vessels are, their different muscular systems and how various organs of different animals look like, compared to other animals (including humans).
From goats to giraffes, squids to sharks and octopuses to ostriches, guests will discover the form and function of animals both exotic and familiar. All information about this very interesting exhibition can be found here.
2. Body Worlds in Heidelberg, Germany and Amsterdam, Netherlands

The Corpus museum is located near the city of Leiden, in the Netherlands. It offers a fascinating journey through the human body in an interactive way and is perfect for children of all ages. Walk inside the mouth, jump on the tongue, take a stroll through the ear and learn about the human body in a fun way.
All information about CORPUS can be found here.
4. Discovery Museum, Zuid Limburg (not far from Maastricht)
This science museum is great for children and it features an exciting expedition zone about the human body, similar to the CORPUS museum. Children have the possibility to see enlarged parts of the human body, learn and observe the functioning of the basic human organs, and all that in a very playful environment. There are a lot of other attractions in the area that you can also visit with your family (I'll list them someday in a different article).
And now we will start the second part of our journey. Get ready to discover some fascinating parks with giants and trolls!
