Seventeen years ago, she embarked on a mission to understand and support her son, diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and dyspraxia. What she found was a system that required persistence, resourcefulness, and a strong network of support. From seeking diagnoses in Belgium to transitioning through different school systems in Luxembourg, she shares her experience navigating the challenges – and victories – of raising a neurodivergent child in a foreign country.
