Who's paying for that fine?Flying delinquent flashed in a 30-zone in Germany

RTL Infos
The Hagen police in Germany were alerted to the presence of a "feathered delinquent" on the road, or rather in the air. This, however, did not prevent the radar from being triggered.

The officers responsible for reviewing the images captured by fixed cameras couldn’t believe their eyes: a pigeon was caught by a radar speeding at 40 km/h, which is 10 km/h over the speed limit for that area.

The egregious violation took place in the morning in a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, where the speed limit on the street is 30 km/h, but the animal was flying faster than the maximum allowed speed, according to the very serious police statement. It also states that “the ‘feathered offender’ should actually pay a fine of 30 euros.”

Good sports and unable to ascertain the exact identity of the pigeon, the police have, however, decided to waive the execution of the penalty.

This naughty speeder is not the first of its species, though. Check out his predecessors’ offences below!
