The last remaining member of Rea Garvey’s team, Andrea Galleti has overcome the blind audition, and now the battle round, to progress in the Voice of Germany talent competition.
It was a gutsy and powerful performance, and one that will hold the Grand Duchy’s – and Germany’s – attention for the coming weeks.
Galletti spoke previously to RTL about the demanding journey that led to his appearance on screen.
Before reaching the televised stage, he said, contestants must first pass a pre-casting round where they have just nine seconds to make an impression. Among dozens of other singers, he performed brief excerpts from Harry Styles’ Falling, Adele’s Rolling in the Deep and Tracy Chapman’s Talkin’ ‘Bout a Revolution.
Together with Linus, Joy, Cara, Luise, Max, Brunel, Keule and the Elsa Band, he now advances to the next round.
