The anticipated new season of Take Off, the science competition show, kicks off on Sunday, 5 January. What new challenges await our brilliant young scientists?
More than 150 candidates applied to the second season of Take Off, and 24 were selected to participate in the first episode, which takes place in beautiful Vianden castle. There, they will face an intense science course to prove their mettle, as we narrow the contestants down to the final 12.

Take Off is a collaborative effort by the André Losch Foundation and the Luxembourg National Research Fund. Each episode challenges contestants with complex scientific tasks, and one participant is eliminated weekly. After 13 episodes, the winner will claim the grand prize of €10,000.
Tune in every Sunday at 7pm on TV, RTL Today, takeoffshow.lu, and RTL Play. For the premiere on 5 January, the first episode will exceptionally air on TV at 8 pm - but all other episodes will be at their usual slot.
