The Lumineers are an American folk rock band formed in Denver, Colorado, in 2005 and this is their first foray to Luxembourg after their 2020 and 2021 shows were cancelled due to... well, you know what.
The band consists of Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar), Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano), and Lauren Jacobson (vocals, piano, mandolin, guitar).
Their music is characterised by their catchy melodies, foot-stomping rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics that often explore themes of love, loss, and the human condition.

Sometimes lumped with the one-hit wonder tag, a debate that rages here at Today Radio, that one track in particular Ho Hey has clocked in 346 million views on YouTube so far, Ophelia as a modest 244 million and Sleep on the Floor, a paltry 218 million by comparison.
The Ballad Of Cleopatra
The Lumineers have achieved critical and commercial success with their self-titled debut album, which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart and earned them two Grammy nominations. They have since released three more albums, each showcasing their unique blend of Americana, indie folk, and rock.
