This is not the first time the shining star of Luxembourg was recognized for her indubitable talent by a prestigious international magazine. Just last December, Krieps ranked in the New York Times top 10 actors list, the same month she won “best actress” in the European Film Awards.
The top 30 list finds Krieps in good company, as she’s featured among other high-caliber actors such as Hugh Jackman, Viola Davis, Cate Blanchett or Michelle Williams.
Marie Kreutzer’s movie “Corsage”, in which Vicky Krieps plays the role of Sissi, is on the shortlist for the 95th Annual Academy Awards in the International Feature Film category. The final selection of five for the official nominations will take place on 24 January.
