Whether a festive selfie, a pet beneath the tree or a savoury pie fresh out the oven: Readers shared their Christmas pictures with the RTL Today community!

The gallery

What began two pandemic years ago as a way to bring readers in Luxembourg together over the holiday period is now somewhat of an annual tradition: A massive gallery with snaps and videos from you.

We love to see how you are celebrating the festive season (we may rate your Christmas tree celebrations publicly), what's on the table (any secret recipes to share?), if you're playing board games, unpacking gifts or singing jingle bells in harmony.

Even if you're spending the next week alone, we want you to know there's a community of people out here who can be your virtual family. Hey, we're online every day over here! 🎅

Feel free to send in more than just pictures or videos: A short message, a good 'ol joke, plans for 2023 or wise words of life advice are more than welcome. We'll put it all together in this article if our hands still reach the keyboard from all the chocolate.

Send in your photos and stories to contenttoday@rtl.lu and title it with Christmas 2022 so we can keep track of them all!

Looking forward! Merry Christmas & happy holidays!

Christmas Ticker

We ran a quick flash poll to see if we should revive the old Covid-era Christmas Ticker. While there wasn't a massive number of responses, 80% of those who did respond wanted it back. We've always opted for quality over quantity here, and if I can keep a handful of readers company over a quiet Christmas... I'll be darned if I don't!

So, until about 3pm, I (Martin) will be tickering away below between news stories, and I suspect Iris will keep the chatter up this afternoon. Want to get involved? E-mail us via contenttoday@rtl.lu, send us a message on Facebook messenger, or drop a comment at the bottom of the article!
