With just three weeks to go until the weekend of coronation celebrations, preparations in the Grand Duchy are in full swing.
Luxembourg is preparing itself for large scale celebrations to usher in a new era with the abdication of Grand Duke Henri, and the coronation of his son Prince Guillaume.
In Dudelange, singers and performers have been training with Sylvia Camarda and David Galassi ahead of their exceptional spectacle of dance, acrobatics, language, music and more.
In Wiltz, plates are being decorated for the new Grand Duke's tour visit on 4 October for their 150-metre long table.
Also in the programme include festivities in Steinfort and Grevenmacher, the full details can be found here.
A whole host of celebrations are planned to take place in the capital. The Luxexpo hall is holding rehearsals, due to the size and scope, says Atelier co-founder and director Laurent Loschetter, the man responsible for the production of the new Grand Duke's tour and the 22 sub-projects that will be held throughout the day.
It is expected betweem 3,000 and 3,500 people will be involved in preparing for the weekend of coronation festivities.
There will be a display on the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge to coincide with the arrival of Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, as well as drone shows and numerous concerts.
Nothing can be left to chance, that is certain, according to Loschetter.
